I have started building my 8 core xeon setup, i did some searching and cant find any coolers that look good enough to perform a stable overclock.
i havent found any water cooling that supports lga 771 either

i know it is a bit pricy for cheep Chinese rubish but i dont think a 1 or 2u server heat sink will do the job

what does everyone think of this, it was the beefest cooler I could find

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sahara-Low-no...Heatsinks_SR&hash=item3cb34e980b#ht_500wt_949

i was also put of the intel stock coolers because of the insane idle of my 2.5ghz celeron.

first boot of the morning in a average room tempriture, after 5 mins on bios idle hit 50 degrease.

any suggestions to futer upgrades in cooling would be good.

Thanks.
Zac

Thankyou, i didnt realise, its a little late as ive already ordered the heat sink shown. and if i cant over-clock i may consider saving some cash and buying 2 of these.

Anyone else know of any good lga 771 coolers?
