I have posted a few threads recently in the general discussion forum.

Basically joking about or posting jokes etc, nothing bad, pornographic or terrible.

And my threads always get closed.

Can people not have a laugh in the general forum? Is this an extremely serious geek site?

In order for it to be be funny, it needs to be funny.

When you're doing it, it feels forced and awkward.

I have no idea what that last thread is about. only obviuse jokes work on internet. Writing has no tone or body language to gauge.

Cheshire is a gorgeous place. Besides we may move to California next year.

Actually England is a nice place in parts. A lot of the top soccer players live in Cheshire. So it seems it is not that shabby here

Mate, the last thread you posted was "This may seem a stupid question" with post content "Nib nib nib, blib nib nib." That's just pointless spam, it's not "funny" by any definition I know of... :-/

Since i have been in England my spelling has improved. I now use the letter U like you folks do...........Humour, honour, colour etc

Maybe its an American thing. There have been a few shows/cartoons I've seen where someone flushes a toilet and the audience watching is in hysterics :confused:
