I was planning a SB upgrade before the SATA problems came out and decided to hold off but now my trusty 4870x2 has died and it's out of warranty. My system in my sig has lasted a good 3 years with only 1 small upgrade and the nuts overclocked it 
So it's upgrade time now and I'll deal with the recall in a months or 2...
Couple of questions.
The Noctua is huge, anyone seen any issues with fitting using this mobo and ram?
Is the IC diamond really worth it or use the stuff that comes with the Noctua?
Any difference in overclocking between the OEM and Retail CPU's. Batch numbers and stuff? I'd love to join the 5Ghz club even if it's only a 30 sec benchmark. 4.6-4.8 stable would be my 24/7 target.
Anything I've missed or anyone got better choices?
I've got a Thermaltake Armour case, Corsair TX 750, 24" LCD and a 1TB spinpoint I'll use from the old system. And ignore the 320Gb drive, it's for my PS3!
