Battlefield 4 releases in a few weeks’ time and The Fallen Unit (TFU) are looking for more people to join us!

We are a UK based clan, who've been active since 2007 of which the majority of our members are from OCUK. We’re mostly about having fun with plenty of squad play. We often run "Cool squad play bro nights" where anyone and everyone is welcome to join in, we all squad up and dominate servers over a few beers. We also run plenty of skrim nights and have competitive teams for all types and skills. All are welcome… Our only restriction is we’re strictly 18+.

We’ve recently moved over to Teamspeak and encourage you to jump on and get to know us with no pressure to join!

TFU Teamspeak server:

If you’re looking for a clan that enjoys both the casual and competitive side of gaming who are as much as about the Lolz as the Wins, then drop on by! We have range of members in our clan who range from the "hardcore" competitive gamer to the ones who are only in it for social, casual side of gaming.

We don’t have hoops to jump through, if you just want people to play with occasionally you’re welcome to join us on team speak at any time no questions asked.

Head to our website http://www.thefallenunit.co.uk and have a look through our forums, this will explain how our clan works and how to put an application in!

We currently play:
· ArmA 2
· ArmA 3
· Battlefield 3

This is not the full list and we play lots more games so whatever game you want to play we have a spot for you!

Anyway, I won’t bore you any more with the recruitment mumbo-jumbo so if you are interested jump on Teamspeak or our forums and get to know us!

Some pictures from our recent LAN events!

You guys want a 4v4 squad match some time with my clan?

But yeah....gz on stuff ...

A much as I'd love to play in some clan games having been in a BF2 clan some years ago, I had a disappointing experience last time. I put in an application to join TFU on the forum during the last recruitment drive, played quite a few games of BC2 on the TFU server, was generally ignored despite joining in the voice chat, then told that no-one had seen me playing in any games, so wasn't wanted.

Pity, because I really enjoyed the games I did play and the servers seem well run.

Tbh, i've made this mistake a lot of times when i was on Mumble and on the server, my awareness of people being on Mumble and identifying who's voice is who's and who has popped on is rather **** as well as checking who is on the same server as me, as i often don't see Neil online a lot of the time and he ends up posting in the BF:BC2 thread on how i ignore him, and he can confirm that as well.

People make mistakes mate, try again, as your experience was positive.

Gooner, is that pizza box actually on your head or not? :D Can't tell on this tiny screen.

What was your in game name? We generally remembered the regulars, even those that never popped in Mumble. We used to make space for anyone that asked and to my recollection never ignored anyone, and we've never said no to anybody because we didn't recognise them. It was just probably a case of there being too many names to remember.

Give TFU another go I guess, I never really even wanted to be in a clan, but it's just a friendly place to have a game and a laugh.

When I get back from my holiday next year I plan on organising some sort of OcUK clan if there isn't already one.

There isn't an official OcUK clan, just basically [OcUK] tags to identify OcUK players.

If our clan isn't active for BF3 (hasn't been for a while now), I'd be interested (if you'll have me). I played BC2 on your servers a few times, been active on clanbase ladders for Crysis, COD4 & L4D. Moderate ability. I normally play as -NMC-HazardO.

bf2 was the heart of our old clan 114th untill geeky wow ruined it for many members and they dropped bf2,Hopefully i may get back into clan life ready for bf3...:D

dependent on how the MP turns out on BF3, count me in for OCUK clan.

starting to get bored of Black Ops MP now......although the dual wield automatic shot guns is fun :D

It's a clan made up of mainly OcUK members, but it's not an official OcUK clan, there is another thread dedicated towards producing an OcUK clan, but TFU is also a very good clan that has been going for a good few years and attends regular events like the iseries and competes in leagues like E-Dom.

As long as you're okay with the leader being Welsh, you should sign up.
