Poll: Can we stop with the 'pancake' crap?

As title, was this ever funny and where did it come from? It renders a lot of polls useless because a mod will shove in 'pancake' as an option thereby creating another useless variable. And no, it's not a replacement for 'other'. Can we please give it a rest now?
