I wonder if Ronnie's going to bother any more. I reckon Robertson really could be the first maiden winner to retain his crown, he's been exceptionally good this year.

Decent longer odds punt would be Mark Allen, generally goes well here and has been playing well this season. In the tougher half with Higgins though.

Robertson was down but came back with breaks of 127 and 100 to be 4-5 with Trump before tonight's session.

I sincerely hope Hendry puts in a better effort this year. He's been giving away a lot of poor shots and suffered for it. I miss the likes of Jimmy White.

I expect Ding Junhui and Neil Robertson to go through to Semi's.

Have got tickets for what should be the final session of Robertson vs Fu next weekend. It could very well be Trump in that match though if the first session earlier today is anything to go by though.

We saw the epicness that was Davis beating Higgins last year, and if it is even half as good as that match I'll be happy whoever is playing.

I reckon if Robertson gets through this match it could be him and Mark Williams in the final, though I would like to see Mark Selby do well.

I'm going to these ones this year:

World Snooker Evening Session 26-Apr-11 Sheffield £28.00 £0.00 Q/F Match
World Snooker Afternoon Session 26-Apr-11 Sheffield £23.00 £0.00 Q/F Match
World Snooker Morning Session 26-Apr-11 Sheffield £23.00 £0.00 Q/F Match
World Snooker Evening Session 1-May-11 Sheffield £47.00 £0.00 Final
World Snooker Afternoon Session 1-May-11 Sheffield £47.00 £0.00 Final

can't wait:D

One more frame for Trump then.
Bad miss from Robertson in the last frame though, should have tied it 8-8 really.

Not seen Judd Trump play before and I have to say he does look the real deal, reckon he's got a good future ahead of him.

Day one results:

Neil Robertson (Aus) 8-10 Judd Trump (Eng)
Shaun Murphy (Eng) 9-0 Marcus Campbell (Sco)
Ali Carter (Eng) 8-1 Dave Harold (Eng)
Mark Williams (Wal) 6-3 Ryan Day (Wal)
Jamie Cope (Eng) 4-4 Andrew Pagett (Wal)

Sunday winners:

Jamie Cope (Eng) 10-7 Andrew Pagett (Wal)
Shaun Murphy (Eng) 10-1 Marcus Campbell (Sco)
Ali Carter (Eng) 10-3 Dave Harold (Eng)
Mark Williams (Wal) 10-5 Ryan Day (Wal)

Hendry and Hawkins win their matches in the deciding frame.

Monday winners:

Ding Junhui (Chn) 10-2 Jamie Burnett (Sco)
Stephen Hendry (Sco) 10-9 Joe Perry (Eng)
Stephen Maguire (Sco) 9-10 Barry Hawkins (Eng)

Hendry needs to pull something out this year otherwise I think he is out of the top 16 from what I heard Hazel Irvine saying the other day so happy to see he won his match.
