I'm having a hard time deciding which case to choose

I am going to be Cooling on Air and want a fairly quiet PC

I really liked each case and am wondering what others opinions are on which they prefer and why?

I have also been looking at the Fractal R3 because of the noise insulation. Any know if the noise reduction is anything significant?

I have the R3 as my htpc and it's really quiet..it's quit heavy too mind..

And you can fit a D14 in it to so it's pritty wide..

I bought the CM690II forgot new build and I've been pretty impressed with the case. Like you I struggled to choose but am pleased I went for the Coolermaster

I think the K62 is better than the CM690II. They're similar market targets as well, personally I went for the K62 over the 690, and am not regretting it.

The R3, is what you want for quietness though. Don't get me wrong, the K62 isn't too bad, but I changed the default fans, and still I thought it was quite loud compared to my old HP media centers (although these are supposed to be quiet). Saying that, now I don't even notice the noise. As for airflow, My 2500k has never gone over 50C (with an A70) and the 480 has never gone over 80 from what I've seen.

My vote goes towards the K-62. It has great cable management, the window is great and the 140mm fans did a pretty good job of cooling it on air. Also, the toolless systems are soooooo much quicker and easier than screws :)

Here is mine on air

My vote goes to the CM690II. It's a nice looking case and has very postitive feedback on these forums. There are too many ugly looking cases if you ask me. Personally I don't like the look of the K-62 and its more expensive than the CM690II and Fractal (I'm sure its a very good case though). I do like the Fractal R3 its a very nice case, simple but stylish but as chippy08 says doors can be annoying.
