My new build has proved frustrating at best, as my Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3 will not find the Realtek Network Controller and after 5 days of utter annoyance, I can't be bothered trying to get it to work.

I've installed two Windows 7 64 bit on different partitions, taken out the battery for ten minutes to clear the bios, loaded failsafe settings, installed the latest Realtek driver, but the Realtek Network Controller not found. If in Deep Sleep plug in the cable message comes up every time. It's not showing in Device Manager either. Left the power out overnight etc, etc.

I've been informed that this is a problem with a few P67 mobo's, so I need a replacement which doesn't push me to breaking point.

I've got the 2500k and AC Freezer Pro Rev 2, which I will be trying to get to 4.5g, 4g Corsair XMS PC3-12800, 1tb Samsung F3 and a Sapphire HD5850 Extreme. I'm not interested in crossfire and want something around the £115 that I paid for the Gigabyte.

Please help, as I want this to be delivered for Thursday, thanks.

I've got a P67-GD65 and currently got my i5-2500k at 4.5k on a A50, temperatures are pretty good and could push it a lot more...

What kind of speeds are you wanting to overclock to?

I'm not bothered with pushing every little bit out of the cpu, 4.5 stable will be perfectly fine mate, which seems to be easily achievable, from what I've read.

Looking like the MSI then, as my previous build included an RMA'd Gigabyte and now this one causing me grief has put me off.

Cheers chaps.:)

I'd like to thank the people who recommended the MSI P67A GD65, installed it today, everything went perfect first time and although I am taking it easy to start with, I have it running at 4.3g, Intel Burn Test stable, so a good start.

I just wish I'd got this in the first place.

+1 MSI GD65, msi boards have always been rock solid for me and this one is no exception, well priced too. my i5 2500k barrier on autovolts seems to be 4.5ghz, 100% stability at this, without a manual voltage increase it will blue screen in prime at 4.6ghz.

Pretty much the same here. Got 1 sitting stable at 4.6 on autovolts without any manual increase, and have 1 more ordered for the second GD65 I have lying around here somewhere. :D
