Z68 Motherboard

I cant decide whether to wait 3 weeks for the z68 or just buy a p67 board. loking at gigabyte ga-p67-ud7-b3. or ga-p67-ud5-b3

How bad do you need it? If it's just GAS (Gear Aquisition Syndrome, aka shopping fever for Men), just wait till next month

This might shed some light as to what it's really for. Looks like it's for overclockability with the Intel graphics.

if i buy the p67 motherboard now, do you think intel will release ssd caching via a firmware update at a later date for the p67 series motherboards.

Definitely worth waiting a few weeks for Z68.

Check the reviews, and if it doesn't appeal (ie you don't need SSD caching or QuickSync) I'm sure it will bring the prices of P67 down - particularly Gigabyte, who are phasing them out by the end of 2011. Bound to be some good deals around mid-May to June.

Great, at least that gives me 5 days to build it before the witcher 2 hits!
