Dirt 3 now on Steam

Just been added to Steam it would seem. Looks very impressive - anyone else planning to get this?

It was on the other day, then they removed it and now it's back :s

As for the game, I'm unsure about it. All the events I watch look more or less over-simplified with unrealistically wide and very easy, as well as short, tracks. Will have to see.

Just wait a month or so and it will be half price, Codemasters discount their games quite quickly on Steam.

I have been reading that Dirt 3 official PC specs state that we should have i7 cpu, HD 6000 GPU and 3GB ram. Since when did games started making use of i7 cpu to actually run them :confused:

Shogun 2 said a similar thing (an i5 I believe) - it is all based on marketing, they don't actually require an i7 ir i5 to run.

Unlikely - Codemasters seem to have moved away from physical copies of their products.

When i get it i hope they streamlined the menus as they took far too long to get through to the actual racing part of the game.

looks good but the roads are too wide and the handling still looks suspect

if only they could combine the realism of RBR with the graphics of Dirt !

A friend who works for codemasters told me they have streamlined the menus a lot
