Hi.
My system is on an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard and I was considering upgrading my GPU's (2 Golden 260 run in SLI) to either
two Asus Geforce GTX 580 DirectCU II 1536MB GDDR5 or
two MSI GeForce GTX 580 Twin Frozr II OC 1536MB GDDR5
Will they mount ok onto my mother board and are there any other issues I need to be aware of?
My system is mounted in a Cooler Master HAF 932 Full tower.

Hi there, I have this motherboard and its really nice as there is two gap slot between the main PCI-E slots.

As a result, it is possible to install two of the triple-slot DirectCU II cards in this board, however they will be sitting on top of each other and taking up six slots on their own (so the second card would certainly hang off the bottom edge off the board and may get too close to the PSU. As a result I would suggest using two GTX 580s with the dual slot coolers - the MSI Twin Frozr II would do well - as would the stock cooler. The stock cooler has the benefit of exhausting most of the hot air out out of the back of the PC.

Got the same board here with reference cooled sli gtx 470's, pic to give you an idea of slot spacing.

Case is a full tower lian li a70f, got an antec spotcool fan behind the gpu's. without it the top card runs 10c higher than the lower one.

Yeah thanks for that.
My x2 260's do the same ( about 10c difference). I like the idea of using stock especially if exhausting to the back will definately aid cooling :)
