Antec 900 vs. Coolermaster CM-690

I'm looking to buy a new case, and I've narrowed it down to these two:

Antec 900
Coolermaster CM-690

I originally started off looking at the Antec 300, but i've decided I'm going to spend a little more money.

What are the pro's and cons of each of these, and has anyone got any experience hiding cables with them?

From what I can see, the CM has a grill at the bottom so I can put the PSU fan down, where as the Antec, from what I can see must have the fan facing up the way.
The CM also looks as though it has better cable management than the Antec, yet so many people seem to recommend the 900?

So what's everyone's thoughts on these cases, or are there any alternatives around the same price I should be adding to my list? :D
 
Have the CM-690 and very happy with it. Temps are ok cables can be hidden and i believe the v2 has a few tweaks making it better.
 
CM690 II Lite or CM690 II Advance, both excellent cases, I have both, good cooling, easy to hide cables, & easy to work with.

I used the LITE version in a build before, its a great case for its price, the two fans are adequate.

The PSU that comes with the bundle is average, its not really crap but not great either, the price of the bundle is what makes it into a tempting bargain, if someone asked me to spec them a 750w PSU as an individual purchase, then it wouldnt get a look in as there are many better PSU's on the market.

I'll probably look else where for a PSU instead of that bundle.

To be honest, I have a 550w right now which is more than enough for what i've currently got, but I'm looking for a GTX 460 possibly, depending on prices - minimum 450w I believe with 2 6 pin connections, so might just go higher anyway

The PSU i've got is an old grey non-modular one anyway, so that's another reason why i'm looking to upgrade :D

I'll have a look at the site, but can anyone recommend off the top of their heads any decent (but not too expensive :)) PSU's around maybe 750w mark?

I have just replaced an Antec 900 for a CM690 II Advanced. Amazing difference, really enjoyed the build. All black case looks sweet, cable management is fantastic, i'd say the 900 has better cooling with lower fan speeds but the CM690 II with the right fan config is still great.

Was a squeeze trying to get all my cables flat and organised round the back of the case so they are hidden from view but I got there in the end!

You will need patience and forward thinking to get it all in! thats if its a big build, I just seem to have an immense amount of cables!

The antec is an older case and it still quite expensive, however it still serves a good purpose but requires modifications if you require to hiding a lot of cables.
 
Thanks for the help everyone, That's it ordered (CM 690 II) :D

And your build looks sweet richardirv - If I can get mine looking even half as good I'll be a happy happy man :p
