Recovering files from a Pen Drive

My dad was retarded and formatted his pen drive, without knowing that he would lose all the data (yeh, hes a PC noob).

He wants them back, what program (possible freeware) should I use?

P.S. Didn't know the right section to put this in.

Is a good option, have restored things before using that

Has a nice easy to use wizard as well if it is not you doing it

at this stage the most important thing to do is not use the pen drive at all !

He already put new stuff in it. He needs a full 'how to use a pc' course

Done it. Files lost their name, and are called 00001 etc. but better than re-doing them all

Get data back is a good program which i have used in the past that worked.
