hey! right one of my friends has come to me to help him with a budget build. He just wants to play a few games, well mainly world of warcraft.

He wont need a screen or anything extra just the base unit :)

read that thread it will save me typing it all out again. The suggested changes to the build comes to around £400 with no DVD drive. Better GPU, same CPU through bios magic for less money. I suggested an AM3+ mobo i have no idea what mobo is bundled with that overclocked bundle getcarter suggested. Seeing as you'll have upto £80ish "extra" in the budget after adding the DVD drive you may want to invest in an aftermarket cooler, more RAM or whatever to flesh out the build, maybe a small SSD even.

Yip pretty much :) You fleshed the spec out quite nicely there but it's all down to personal preference. I did post an edit on that thread after i saw you posted, you must have missed it.
