Main tasks will be:
Every day home productivity, i.e, emails, web surfing & documents.
Light to Medium gaming - mostly racing games.
Possibly lots of Video transcoding.

My preference is with an mini itx board but i think finding good PSU's for these is difficult? (Please correct if wrong).

Thank you

In that case, if you are doing a fair bit of transcoding (and are using an application that makes use of Quick sync technology) then a Z68 board is a good option.

If you want to go down the M-ITX route then this is certainly possible since there are now some M-ITX Z68 boards like this one from Zotac. As for the PSU, it really depends on which case you go for - many on the larger M-ITX cases use full-size ATX power supplies, so these won't be such a problem (and can fit a decent graphics card for a bit of gaming). For M-ITX cases I would suggest looking at the options from Silverstone, Antec, bitfenix and Lian Li.

Hi thanks for your reply.
I will take a look at you recommended link, thank you for that.

I think i have seen a case from silverstone that looks like its up to the job, just a little bigger than shoe box size which is fine. Sugo sg07.

I do like gigabyte boards but as far as i know, they only have an h67 board in mini itx and that prevents me from doing any overclocking if i so wish.
