BBC mobile signal coverage doobary

They are to push an update out this AM which helps resolve the battery usage.

Hmm, they should have incorporated a 100kb speedtest each time it refreshes or something (yes I know 'data allowance').

Oh lord something's broken here (DISCLAIMER - I work in the industry for Orange etc etc). The area where I live is a HSDPA test zone with a perfect tri-mast setup and it's showing as 2G. It's also showing part of the Orange HQ in Bristol as a 2G zone. This is next to the biggest mast we own which is used to test fancy new technologies.

There are some truth bits (the M4 blackhole that all networks can't seem fix near the bath junction) but I get the impression that the quality of the data will be called into question.

Seems about right for MK, the signal can be extremely shifty, which seems to be reflected in the results which show a mix of 3/2g and no signal.
