they are bitspower fittings?
thats like asking why Intel are more expensive than AMD

or why BMW are more expensive than Fiat

you pay for solid reliable build quality, but a very high premium on the name. I use the EK fittings which are nearly half the price and the build quality is just as good.

They are the best fittings and i do use for certain types connections, in the UK tho i find i struggle to find any decent supplier having everything i need in bitspower in silver, most etailers tend to stock the black ones mainly, EK are nice too and i have got some Alphacool also and they seem to work fine also.

Why are they?

because fiats are made from cheese and bmws aren't.

stop being pedantic.

the ek fittings are nearly as good i must agree.
bitspower just costs that much. the fact that it is difficult to get hold of coupled with the high quality finish means they cost a bit more.

its hardly shocking for a premium product to cost more than a budget product.

Good then I can do my plan of all 90 degree fittings on the waterblocks, a little restrictive, but my system isn't the hottest one in the world :p

The 90s aren't that restrictive at all. I have three in my loop and that runs three blocks and two large rads off one d5 using parallel flow. So it can't be that restrictive or it simply wouldn't work. :)

I hope i win the Bitfenix contest then, so then I'll have orange cables, fluid (I'll have to buy the Mayhems orange pre-mix elsewhere) and 90 degree bitspower fittings :D

I only buy bitspower becuase their full range offers a lot of different corners like dual rotary corners for those awkward parts of the case.

get the full range please OcUK :D

My budget just doubled
Are the green bits UV reactive because I saw some pics on a competitor site showing they were.

Also, with the 45 degree, do you buy another fitting and put that on the 45? Or do you put the Tubing directly into the 45?

EDIT: might aswell ask here, any idea when you're getting the EK advanced res 250?
