Interesting article. I guess it boils down to knowledge of the browser market, which correlates with IQ in some way.

I use Opera on my HTPC, Chrome on my laptop and Firefox on my desktop just to be awkward

I regularly use IE6, 7, 8, 9, Chrome, FF3.5 & 4, Safari on Windows, OSX and iOS... not sure their article accounts for web designers..
