Best case fan around?

Im looking to get 4 case fans for my case and was wondering which are the best around?

I need 2 x 120mm and 2 x 140mm.

Want them to move some serious air when needed but also run quiet when browsing the web etc and "plane taking off" sound effects arnt needed.

Also any suggestions on a fan controller would be appreciated.

I have been looking at some of the NZXT fan controllers with the touch screen facility etc but cant find any reviews on em.

Any advice, should is stick with the simple fan controllers?

The Lamptron FC2 is a no bells and whistles controller with a hefty 45w per channel x6 and is cheap, as for the fans the 1850rpm GT's are normally enough and quite a bit cheaper.

Massive Fan Comparison Chart!

That was very usefull.

Decided to go with the Be Quiet range, good airflow, good MTBF and life.

read the result.. those are the claimed specs vipers claims 82cfm gets no where near on either cfm or dbs

not saying they are bad just the article points most manufacturers specs are deceiving.

this test shows the tested quietest fans with the maximum airflow. and the fans i was going to buy tested awful..
