Hello,

Free Poker Game tonight at 20:30 on Poker Stars for the second part of the Ocuk Poker League 2011.

The champion for this year has been decided but these next 12 weeks will count towards world ranking points. For more information regarding the structure of the tournament then look in the main sticky at the top of GD.

Your point system from last year looked decent enough, I remember reading the complaints about people registering for the day but not showing. Yet they still finished above some people who did turn up by simply sitting out while active players knocked each other out.

You could get past that by simply freezing any members points at 0/1 point for registering but not playing a hand. Then bump up the placings of those that got knocked out earlier but played in the tournament.

That's kinda what I did. I simply removed the person from that week's scores and bumped everyone else up a place. Unfortunately that meant that those that where 11th and then got 10th where denied the chance on the final table.

This new system won't stop it unfortunately. :(

I've been playing since before Sept 2009. I only remember that because it was the year/month I started Uni and was worried I wouldn't be able to make it to all the games :)

I'll have a look over my leagues as I couldn't see Freeman playing in 2010. - Edit According to the spreadsheet you only played the first week of the 2010 league.
