Everyone can play, if you don't follow rugby, who cares. Just come and have a bit of competition!

So, the Rugby World Cup kicks off soon. I for one will enjoy following it, however the awkward times that it's on means it may be difficult to watch many games. So, what better reason to have our own fantasy competition!

I'll authorise you and we can play against each other and see who becomes the best.

ESPN are offering prizes (though I don't know what they are), but I'm also offering prizes.
I shall offer a prize for the champion, a prize for the funniest name, and a prize for the worst team.

"But Ahleckz, I don't know anything about rugby" I hear some of you cry. Well they have solved this with a rather nifty Lucky Dip button which, when I've pressed it pulled up some pretty good teams and think of the shame you will bring on us in the know as you sit top of the league.

So, join up and lets have a bit of banter and fun with it.

Accepted you both. A man can dream eh? Can always make transfers if necessary. I'm not a huge rugby buff, I enjoy watching it more than following it so it's a case of my heart ruling my head in team selection quite a lot.
I'll still win though :D.
 
You can't go wrong choosing four players each from the Aussies, NZ and the Saffers. There are a few standout players from the northern hemisphere to supplement them then.

I'll be in. The 6N one was a good laugh. My knowledge of world rugby has gone rapidly downhill though after not having sky any more :(

Might take me a little while to put a team together though!
 
Joined, but I think I will be rejigging my team a lot before Saturday as I didn't even think about the fixtures! Might have to have a read up on how the trinations went ;)
 
I did a lucky dip as i know sod all about rugby (even though i run a sports bar !!).
I had to google to see which of my players was a kicker...lol

This will give me a an interest when i'm opening up at 6:30am for the rugby die-hards.
 
Not long to go. Harlequim *giggle* is going to kick ass! I've made the controversial choice of having Flood as my kicker instead of Wilko. Wilko is past it! Read it here first.
 
I joined, had started forming a mega-team but eventually thought I'd fill the extra spaces with randoms and clicked lucky dip... so my whole team is now lucky dip!

Gigantic **** up for Scotland Romania on Friday night, can't wait. :D
