I think the look of the OTES cooler is domineering. However I worry about the air intake capability for 4-way sandwich SLI - there seems to be no arc to help with airflow like the reference design.

Those vents on the top of the shroud look like they are there for in taking air from within the case? I may be wrong but if it is that is a really clever design.

just had a quick skim, all i want to know is do these beat the lightnings in tech and features? classified is clocked slightly higher than the lightnings

Not the best looking cards on the planet but they are basically for extreme overclocking not the average user.

they oced them to 1.6ghz? holycow.

The Matrix can do over 1GHz on air. I'm sure most GTX 580s can do around the 1.5GHz on Liquid Nitrogen...

Tbh, just looks like a card for extreme machines running phase change for cooling. But having said that, the MSI GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme would be cheaper..
Other than that, just looks like an expensive GTX580. A waste of money unless you're going to put some serious cooling on and bench the **** out of them.

The card requires ONE THOUSAND watts to run. 2.5x more than the reference card. that's why its so fast.

EVGA mock competitors for going multi GPU cards, when they just uber tune one and give it the power requirement of two and a half cards.

Swings and roundabouts :P

This card features a 14+3 Phase Power Design that can deliver over 1000W of power, and the redesigned cooling solution with an 8CM fan improves efficiency by as much as 30% (compared to the standard cooler).
