Black Tubing and Mayhems Ultra Pure Water? or Clear Tubing and Black Mayhems X1 Fluid?

As title really, bout to buy rest of bits, coolant is the last headache, I hope, was hoping to look at gold coolant, but theres not much choice and the only one there is I've seen bad things written about. So I'm left with Black, but do I go still with my clear tubing (Tygon) and Mayhems X1 Black Premix Fluid? Or do I get the black tubing and use Mayhems Ultra Pure Water? If the latter do I also need the Biocide and silver killcoil? Or one or other? Or neither? Please help :mad:

Doesn't really matter.

just aesthetics!

I'd got for clear with black fluid.

You need biocide or a kill coil for whichever choice you go for

I thought the premixed stuff already had the biocides n that in?

mayhems stuff i've used so far looks excellent.

The clear/UV blue was a huge disappointment though

i have black and mayhems pure works a treat, get the mahoosive bottle of 5L for about £10 cant go wrong.

Is that the stuff it needs? Or would I still need to add more? Still havent decided which route I'll go as opinion seems pretty split

Thanks for clarifying, but as its out of stock I'm gonna go for the black tubing and water+killcoil, doesnt seem to be much in it and least I can get everything at one time from one place (OcUK) then

Am in the same boat re: your original conundrum, only with blue!

Am verging towards the Pastel liquid in the blue however - think it'll look slightly strange but cool in the reservoir.... and there's no tubing as of yet that matches the colour.

Good to know re: the additives in the liquid.

All our pre-mixes have protection against every thing except ultra pure H20.

This includes

Aurora
Pastel
X1

Do not add any Biocide to these fluids else you will cause problems.

All fluids as of today (meaning it will need to filter though the networks) now come with a bar code and a DOM (date of manufacturer) so you can tell when it was made.
