I tried this, followed the instructions to the letter.
My recording from playclaw had a big "UNREGISTERED VERSION" stamp on it. It was also pretty bad quality and stuttering, I might add, despite the fact that the recording was of Half Life 2. I'm guessing the "UNREGISTERED VERSION" might be the catch?

Also it tried to install toolbars after the install, never a good sign. I'll be keeping with afterburner I think. YMMV?

That "Giveaway of the day" thing looks like it could be useful in the future, though. I'll be keeping an eye on it just in case I just installed Playclaw wrong and hopefully something else will pop up.

Try reading the readme. It contains a registration key

The free part is being able to register. Giveaway is a good site. This program might be ok if it did smaller or better quality files maybe

Got it working, thanks. Reinstalled it and it worked this time. I assumed it activated it during the install, didn't see the button to activate when I opened the application.
Still can't get good quality smooth videos out of it but I'm guessing it should be OK after some adjustment.

gave this a try but my fps drops by 50-60 when i start to record, game and program on seperate ssd's, so going to stick with MSI for now, but have bookmarked the site as it looks useful
