Merry Christmas everyone! :D


Got a little bored last night waiting for the day to pass, so thought what the hell I'll give some wire wool a go with car light painting.

This did result in 2 police cars and a van being called on us, but once they saw the photos the bid us Merry Christmas and left us in peace!

That's rather neat, nice composition.

Things to look out for :-

background, I like the 3 lamp posts, it creates a line but they are also a distraction. The flat on the right side also got in the shot.

May change the white balance a little too.
 
Thanks all :) this photo just hit Explore too, my first shot to do this :D

Ray - unfortunately there was a car just to the left of the shot so couldn't move to get the flat out of the way, and the car was lit by a Speedlight, so altering the WB makes it a little blue. Flash gels would solve this for future I guess?


The Noctography video explains the technique a lot better than I could, just go and practice it and you'll learn very quickly what works for you :)
