OCUK staff - Could you see if the Hazros are compatible with the 7970 please :-)

Guys, only a week left. I'd hate to have to return the 7970 if there's still issues with the Hazro.

While technically a hazro issue, if they won't fix it I'll have to stick with Nvidia

The main reason I bumped the thread today is because I had the dreaded screen corruption last night. The mrs had a basket full of food shopping and had got to the secure credit card page where you have to enter your pin and password.

perfect timing on the hazro, screen went corrupt so she couldn't see. Had to power down the lot to get it back up and running.

The issue where all going to have is the 7 day DSR. Mine does it maybe once a week, or sometimes one every other week. If I buy a 7970 and it doesn't do it within 7 days I might start to think everythings fine. Then on the eighth day knowing my luck I'll get the screen corruption back.

Can't return it back to OCUK then.

With my 6950 TF3 the hazro wont detect the input and the system wont boot with just the hazro. I need to have a second monitor plugged in for my system to boot. Seems to be a hazro issue to do with the timings on the input detection apparently.

The entire screen goes VERY blurry

You don't have to play a game. In fact, thinking about it....the quickest way of testing it is to have a standard windows desktop. Set the monitor to power save after say 1 min. Then when you wake it up, see what it looks like.

You may have to do it a few times as like I say it's hit and miss. Mines been doing it on and off ever since I got the monitor. It's a common problem and seems to be with everyone owning the ATI cards.

Strange, I don't have that issue at all.

I used to have no display on the post screen with my old 5850 card though.

I get the same, screen randomly goes fussy on wakeup with an ATI 4350 512mb which I want to upgrade to a 1024mb card but don't want to get another ATI if theres going to be a problem.

The card I was looking at is ATI 6450 1024mb but I doubt anyone on this forum is using one.

It's really weird and I have no idea what is causing it, but I can disable the second monitor in CCC but as soon as I completely remove it then I get no signal.

It does the same thing with my stand-by 5450

Why don't you just turn on/off "Alternative DVI mode" to fix it instead of rebooting ?
