Hi there. Just built my first PC, just installed W7 and I'm having a couple of problems. I don't know what to do next. So far:

1) Can't connect to the internet. Haven't got a wireless card/dongle, but I am running a cable to my router. I know this works, as I've already run Ubuntu (off a USB) and it connected fine. Apart from Ubuntu, I've never connected to the internet via a cable, as I've always had laptops and connected via wifi.

2) Screen resolution not right. I've got a 1920x1080 monitor but the resolution settings are only showing 1280x1024. I'm assuming this is some sort of graphics driver issue (running integrated graphics right now), and that leads me to the next thing...

3) How do I install all the drivers I'm supposed to be installing? I have no idea about these things.

Specs:
CPU: 2500K
Mobo: GA-Z68AP-D3
RAM: 8GB Patriot
SSD: Crucial M4 128GB
No optical drive (but I know how to make a bootable USB drive if needed for anything)
Graphics: integrated right now

Many thanks. :)

Win7 supplies all the drivers you need inc graphics ,motherboard etc, these drivers worked fine for me, the only thing I updated was Nvidia, & Creative soundblaster altho it ran fine with the included ones somehow

Sound like it hasn't got the correct drivers drivers.
Go to the manufactures website, download them and install them. That should fix Internet and display resolution. Or if mobo came with a cd, drivers should be on that. But best to download from site to get the latest.

Need to select correct revision

it is very good, but it doesn't always work and doesn't always select best drivers.

Thanks, yeah I've found the drivers from that site and am downloading them now.

Can I just save them to a USB from my laptop, plug the USB into the new PC and double-click?
