I was wondering this earlier on, and I would like to see how many people actually use a linux distribution at home as their main OS.

I have Ubuntu on a dual-boot configuration, don't really use it to be fair but it's there if anything was to go wrong with my Windows installation.

Thanks.

N25.

Arch on my desktop, dual booting win7 until one of the contracts I am working on is finished . Then Windows will be coming off. I only play Anno on my pc now so gaming won't be a issue.

Arch here, a fair few games work in Wine. Enough for me... although it is a pain trying to get them to work if they don't off the bat. Definitely a pain buying a game that has decent ratings in the App DB then discovering that the DRM it comes with doesn't :(

Yep. I'm always switching distros (using OpenSUSE at the moment) but my main desktop OS is Linux. I dual boot with Windows 7 for gaming.

Got Crunchbang Linux as the only OS on my netbook.

Laptop - temporary Chakra install until I have a few hours spare to put Arch back on (though I'm quite enjoying Chakra)
GF's laptop - Ubuntu
Desktop - Mint 11, but again, when i have a few hours spare Arch will go on (or perhaps Chakra) / Dual boot Win7 for games
Server - CentOS

I use windows 7 & crunchbang about the same... I only really prefer windows 7 for media and use crunchbang for most programing/web design

Personally, I just use it as a recovery OS for other people's machines

I was running ubuntu on my netbook for a while, but once I bought a SSD, I switched back to W7

I'm using Archlinux as my main OS

I still dualboot with windows7 tho for games :(

It's still pretty good as it keeps my gaming separated from my work
