Deus Ex HR mouse lag

Hey people

I was having this issue with mouse lag on this game. V-Sync was off and the mouse still was not responsive enough, even moving the mouse sliders in the settings I could not get the mouse to move 100% smooth at all.

I stumbled across this post on another forum and now my mouse lag has gone:

"You need to Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eidos\Deus Ex: HR" , then change the value of g_debugFreeLookSpeedScalingRatio_Pitch from 6e 00 00 00 to 00 00 00 00, as for value of g_debugFreeLookSpeedScalingRatio_Yaw, you need to change it from 86 00 00 00 to 00 00 00 00. Now you need to re-adjust your mouse speed in game and you have solved acceleration issue in the game."

Maybe it will help someone else with the same issue. Doing a google of deus ex mouse lag throws up lots of stuff so it does happen to a lot of people it seems.

Ah so it's acceleration-related then. I suffered slightly but I mostly played with the 360 pad anyway.

I do have V-Sync off in game with all other settings maxed, I set MSI to cap it at 60fps and I also have D3DOverrider set with v-sync on and triple buffering forced, not sure if that does anything to help as well. But now it is fixed I am not touching any setting until I have finished the game

Never had any problems with mouse lag but the games stutters a LOT on any setup I've tried - despite holding 80+fps.

Did you patch it to the latest version? I remeber having some mouse lags and general laggy feeling in release version...

Yeah patches via steam, not sure what it is. But the above is a fix for it if people do have it. The joy of PC gaming

Also it is not major lag, in fact it is very minimal but just enough for you to notice something is not quite 100%

Tried turning V-Sync off? That usually fixes it for me in certain games (Dead Space for example).
