Ok, becoming quite iriarte with this new (replacement) Mobo.
No matter what i set the OC to apart from stock and D.O.C.P ram profile option in the overclock settings it won't POST (from cold boot), then when i reset i get the "OC failed, press F1...." error.
I can OC the chip to 3.6 on 6 cores, pass prime and IBT but soon as i switch OFF and back ON again "OC failed blah blah blah!"
Even if i manually enter all the settings exactly the same as the DOCP RAM profile thingy - "OC failed blah blah blah!"
When i use the DOCP ram profile and all is fine - as soon i touch anything, even 200*17 to 200*17.5 "OC failed blah blah blah!"
Has anyone had a simular issue? atm im stuck at 3.0/3.4 x6 i know it can happily do more on the olde MSI GD80 it was stable @ 3.7 x6 until i over volted the MB-NB
But with the ASUS, arguably a better board than the MSI ive hit the wall already?
Anyone have any hints to help me get it 'stable'?
Thanks
