Continuing my venture into making music video's, I would appreciate you taking a moment to have a look at my latest work..

Gone are the work lights and make do amend chinese lanterns, and in come the Arri's and Dedo lights. Also added a Zacuto EVF, Zacuto Striker and a Gidetrack slider improve my workflow and prevent my neck from snapping in two.

I had fun making this Video which we shot last weekend over 2 days in 3 location totalling about 14 hours...

Im having fun and Im looking forward to the next project...

Was going to get the 5D mark 3 next week, but will keep the mark 2, its such a great camera.. I will be investing in the FS700 from Sony instead for those 240 frames of goodness!!!

Cheers guys!!

You put "perusing" instead of "pursuing" in the description on youtube as a heads up, will come back and edit my post once I've watched it :D
EDIT: Really cool, not sure of anything I'd suggest. Not sure if the whole confidence low>high thing was really necessary or effective? The narrative seemed ambitious but not quite like it was there to me

Thanks for the heads up... it's been updated!!!

Unfortunately, when you have a bunch of people who are doing things for you in their spare time, for free.. it can be difficult to organise when you are on your own. The concept was thought up and the video recorded within 2 days... So, yeah I agree, not quite their as a whole story. That's the great thing about working with music video's, you can try things out, do new things and see what works and what doesn't and then go in next time with fresh idea's and improve.

I'm off to do some perusing!! :)

One tiny thing, nothing to do with you or your work, but the girl is chewing gum at ~1:15 and it's a little distracting. Other than that - nice work.

Have you done other videos with these guys before as the lead singer looks familiar.
Edit: Scrub that - searched and you have.

Hi Guys, thanks for feedback and I'm sorry I haven't been back to reply. On the shower scene, yeah its a hard job but someone's gotta do it!! That's been said a lot :)

I did all the post work too.. It's just another part of the process I really enjoy. It allows me to think creatively and push myself to do something different.

I have been studying light and lighting techniques over the last few months and that is where I see the most improvement in my work. I'm planning another music video shoot at the moment and I'm looking to take this one to a whole other level. We'll see if I succeed :)
