Hi i got my mini dp to dp lead today so i now can use my display at 120hz;)
This evening the display went off and i got the message on a black background not optimal image 1920x1080 or something across those lines.
Anyway i have read a few people have had this i switched back by changing source on the monitor.
Is there a solution to this? i have read some people put up with it, which i thik is ridiculous.
Any help apreciated
Guy
Ps why do i always misspell titles to threads

I have been reading about this problem and a fair few people have had this problem even changing Dp cable, someone got the message 3 times in 10 mins so reurned it!
I hope i don't have to, does anyone know weather theres a driver update to fix this?
Thanks
Guy

I keep getting the system has detected a link failure and requested
resolution and refesh rate on your Dispaly port.
your dispaly might not support the requested resolution so there mught be a issue with the cable connecting the display to the computer

then eyefinity crashed back to 2 screens then it takes ages for my computer
to find the 3rd screen. thats using 2 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-000-SR

Hi i am trying to see weather any of the power saving features on the mitor have an effect by turning them off. also ordered a mini dp to dp converter aroud £16 off the bay fro a good one so i can see weather the dp lead that came with it is any better. But i dont see why people put up with it i mean i paid £420 and some people a lot higher. This is unacceptable in this day and age.

Hi old gamer, well i set all the eco settings to off left it on over night, my pc had gone to sleep woke it all was fine then within around 30secs not optimum res came up , switched back to normal so twice in 2 days you would think there would be a firmware fix.

Hi

What drivers are you on?
I'm sure I remember reading that there was a bug in the latest ATI drivers about Sleep mode or power savings or something.

Ill have a quick google and see if I can find it.

Also - did you install the monitor driver (digital version) from the disk? So your monitor is listed correctly as an SA700D and not a 'generic' monitor?

Hi yeah originaly i installed the HDMI driver then the display port one, starnge 2 drivers you'd think it would be all in one.
Thanks
Guy

I think the disc and website are the same as i still think the drivers havent been updated.
