Salmon fillet and whole sides (NOT whole Salmon!!!!)

Morrisons from Monday. £6.49 per kg (don't shoot me if it's Wednesday the offer starts. We have been known to start it mid week sometimes)

Get it in whilst you can. Good to freeze.

Thought I might as well create a thread on Food offers that are going on currently or in the near future.

Also there is a huge ILO (Industry Leading Offer) in the pipeline. Not sure of the actual details yet but its going to be a corker apparently.

Great idea for a thread if we can keep it up to date. I don't know the technicalities but I'd be cautious about how you word your 'offers' though as pimping your own business is not allowed :)

I presume its the same as saying x company has y on sale at half price. They allow it in other forums on here like Consoles and PC games etc. If its not allowed mods please tell me.

Sainsbury has a massive 72 washes fairy non bio washing powder half price at the moment at £10.

Not food related but it sure is cheap!

Thanks for the heads up...had some salmon last night with a honey and soy marinade I made...will be buying more salmon for the hotter weather was a delight!!

Costco have £5 off their packs of rump steak, picked up over a kilo of scotch dry aged rump for £8.40 last night. FAR better quality meat than tesco/asda IMO, and seriously thick cuts!

all that for £8.40! I know it's not mature mature as it's still red, but damn it tasted good, even if it was perhaps a TAD blue for most folks (didnt take a photo of the inside, was too busy nomming)

It's £29 but thanks for the heads up!

Btw it says for example:
2 Sirloin Steaks, individually packed (pack weight 210g)
So does that mean each steak is only 105g?

Also they come frozen, right? I never like freezing steak as it can retain water -- but I guess that's the idea of them 'shock' freezing them?

Oops :o

Amended my post accordingly. Thanks for pointing out my mistake :)

It says individually packed - pack weight 210g so they'll be 210g each.

I don't think they will be frozen. I've never ordered from them before but my usual online butcher sends fresh.

Edit: Just read the page fully and it does say frozen.

Stan what's that meat place you normally use, I can't find it in amongst all these threads, want to put an order in (assuming they have the right cuts)

Thanks, have to save it for another order. Want beef ribs and pork shoulder amongst other stuff by Friday.

I usually get my stuff from them in about 3 days but there's no guaranteed delivery date. I haven't seen beef ribs on there either.

Not so much as a special offer i think but these: link ko lee noodle pots are 3 for £1 at poundstretchers if you have a store near you. Usually loads in and the roast chicken or hot and spicy types.

Cheaper than most places, maybe cos they lack the foldy fork inside them but meh u can use a normal fork. :p
