Costs £400, how good is the performance compared to a 460gtx?

Is this the HP Pavilion g6-1331ea? I have this laptop and it happily plays most games on low/med on reasonable framerates :). I had to overclock the CPU since it was bottlenecking the GPUs though. And the dual GPUs will only run together in crossfire mode if the game is using DirectX 10 or above.

Here's a Heaven benchmark, the 6620G on the left, and the 6620G+7450M on the right (driver update changed the 7450M name to 6400M as they're the same thing): http://i.imgur.com/oYwEA.png

So far I have had no problems with overheating, it's actually quite cool compared to my old Acer laptop. It's a very good laptop, but it had so much junk HP software. So I did a clean install and it runs brilliantly :). Also has about 4-5 hours battery life as well.

if I do a clean install, could I use the key with the laptop? does it come with recovery cd's?
just asking as my brother wants this :)

we don't have a home premium cd, is there a legal iso file?
no key though
also how is the screen?

The trackpad is a bit wierd to use at first but you can change the settings to suit your needs with the Synaptic mouse options, making it very customizable. It's up to your bother honestly, but for gaming, a mouse is always better than a trackpad.

The keyboard also feels fine to use as well, and this is coming from someone who uses a mechanical keyboard. No numpad though which is a let down.

sorry for all the questions, but how are the speakers?
I'm using an acer extensa 5235 right now, well all i can say is (-5 stars)
it's ok for general use, but it freezes on youtube.
also the speakers are rubbish

It's fine, it's best to know about the product as much as possible anyway before buying.

The speakers are actually suprisingly good, clearer than any other laptop speakers I've heard. Make sure you disable all the sound features such as SRS though, I find that lowers the quality.

finally, have you ever rendered a video or recorded using fraps on there? is it good if you have?

I have tried the recording software with MSI AfterBurner, no lag with that. Encoding the footage with Handbrake to shrink it takes a while though, but it's still reasonably fast.
