Warning to anyone buying Cooler Master Silent Pro M PSU's

I just got the PSU and I couldn't fit any of the Sata power cables into my HDD's. After googling it a bit it seems a lot of other people have had this problem. The way I got around this? I got a old HDD and basically pressed as hard as I could rather than trying on one of my SSD's and breaking them. It fit's but it's such a tight fit and not easy to get off. I took the risk anyway's and put the cables into my HDD's and they work fine. Just a head's up to anyone who get's this PSU and decide to RMA it because of this issue - you can use the cables just have to press really hard. Comparing it to my old non modular BeQuiet! PSU cables it seems the cables are really thin in height.

Had the same problem recently when plugging in my new SSD but thought nothing of it. Just rammed it in and it worked.

I was scared thinking maybe it would damage the slot or something was obstructing it. But it requires some serious force.

Do it out the case first, remove the modular lead and the HDD and try it. Once it will go in smoothly apply it in the case. Is how ide repeat it now

after the first time it is easier i had the same problem with mine now they are a lot easier

Yeah, had same issue... just pure strength solves it but be gentle, as plastic easily breaks.
