USB 3.0 20 Pin adapter help needed

Hey guys,
so here's a problem i bought the

Gigabyte A75N-USB3 Motherboard

and

BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Case
CA-074-BX_400.jpg


The front USB ports are using USB 3.0 20pin Female connector

BUT the motherboard does not have USB 3.0 20Pin male socket so there is problem.


Is there an adapter to have that would allow to connect the cable to one of the back USB 3.0 ports at the back ?

Yes it would seem the ideal solution. I use something similar but the other way around as the front panel on my silencio connects via usb when my mobo has the 20 pin header

It seems i got another options, I can keep my USB 3.0 at the back but turn my front 2 into USB 2.0 with this connector.

So basically just use the normal motherboard USB 2.0 socket
scaled.php




So my choices are:

Connect to USB 3.0 at back of machine
+I get USB 3.0 functionality at the front
-I lose two USB3.0 ports at the back
-Extra wire going out back

Connect to USB2.0 header on motherboard
+No wire going out the back
+I get 4 USB 3.0 a the back and 2 USB 2.0 at the fron
-I'll have to connect my usb3.0 devices to the back ports to get usb3.0 speed

Sorry to Necro the Thread but I have pretty much the same problem with my Case having USB 3.0 ports on the front but no header for the connector leaving them useless. Does anyone have a link for this item I have tried searching google but it is to no avail.
