Hello,
I am currently looking to buy a new PC. I do not need OS/monitor/Keyboard/mouse/speakers. It will be used for gaming/media/minor video editing. My budget is £800 (can go up to £850 max)
Reliability is most important, I would like this PC to last the next 3-4 years or so before replacing/upgrading.
Some Requirements.
- Nvidia card (the games I play are better on Nvidia cards, I may wait for the 660's if they launch around the £200 mark)
- Modular PSU
- 1SSD + 1TB HDD combo. (i'm ok with dropping SSD if it's out of budget)
- good cooling (this part I have no idea with)
I don't intend to overclock the cpu straight away, maybe in the future (so cpu cooler not necessary unless you think its better to go with one even on stock speed)
For SSD I have no idea, I've heard intel ssd's are the most reliable but also quite a bit more expensive than m4/830 which also seem ok.
Also another part I have no idea with is cabling. I don't know which if any cables I'll need (I'd like it pretty tidy), these won't be part of the £800 budget so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
