Looks like a high specced phone, however abit too much like an over sized iphone. No doubt Apple will have a say about the design side of things.

Other than the new Snapdragon 1.5 GHz with Adreno 320 graphics chip, I'm not that excited about the phone mainly because of LG's track record of updating its flagship phones to the latest version of Android has always been shoddy.

Not to mention LG skinning of Android is rather lackluster as well.

Thoughts on this phone People?!

I may be interested in this, I'd rather have a Nexus phone with similar specs and a better design though... oh boy.

The battery on this is 2100mAh (reportedly) as well, so it should have decent battery life.

Get a 3rd party ROM on this and I may be very interested if it's priced right.

No mention on the internal space though? The tiny 380mb on my Xperia PLAY is killing me and not all apps can be moved to the SD card...

Defo the upcoming Nexus phone(s) for me as well but its good to see LG finally come up with a decent phone (spec wise). Let's see if they delivery on the software support though!

Oh yes...good point re the battery Robbo. I forgot to put that in the spec list

With the S4 Qualcomm 1.5 Krait chip the battery will last quite a while as the S4 chip performs very well on the One S.

@Orcvader Both Engadget and Phonearena report 32gb memory inside as well as the SD card slot which isn't bad.

Nice - but design a bit meh ...LG have to prove themselves with updating software fast before I could even consider their phones.

S4 is the star of the show no doubt - wonder if the camera will be HighQ.

They churn out too many half-baked phones too, 4X already forgotten - they need a quality flagship like the well rounded SGSIII.

Comparatively good compact dimensions though 131.9 mm x 68.9 mm x 8.45 mm vs HOX 134.36 x 69.9 x 8.9 mm

Totally agree with you. I stay well clear of LG phones because of their bad track record in regards to software updates.

S4 is the greatest aspect to this phone - Qualcomm's quad core processor coupled with Adreno 320 is seriously going to kick some butt, shame it had to run inside a LG phone! :D

Do you reckon their will be a noticeable difference in speed and smoothness between this and a JB'd S3? I will be impressed if there is.

Looks to be a very interesting phone, and if it looks a bit better then the those images I think LG have finally made a decent phone (if the battery holds as long as a S3), hoping for a timely international release.

By the same token, the 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 LCD is impressively bright and crisp — without a doubt one of the best displays we’ve seen on any device.

And being the first phone with in-cell touch techonolgy and quad-core s4.

Very much doubt there would ne any noticeable difference, just better benchmark scores, and maybe better gaming down the line. It might perform better with proper multi-tasking as it comes with 2gb ram, just have to wait and see if anything really uses the power.

+1 to what Fallen god said also expect better battery performance from the LG.

I'd love to see the Qualcomm S4 processor in other phones just as a matter of choice as the LG would not even be in my radar. I hope that one of the new Nexus devices carry the S4 processor with the Adreno 320 combo. That would be amazing!

The international SGS3? Definitely, app performance and load times should be epic.
Shame LG couldn't be bothered with the design, look at the camera! :p

I think we're all want a S4 Qualcomm configured Nexus. That would please a lot of users on this forum. I hope one of the manufacturers have this in mind when they're going to produce one or more the new Nexus phones.

If the rumour proves correct that Google are going for a multi manufacturer Nexus release, I'm sure that the S4 is bound to be included in one of these devices.

As OP says, I wonder if Apple will have anything so say with the design given that the court case stated the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket infringed on trade dress -

Sky Rocket v LG -

Please don't hotlink.

Sarge - that video show me nothing :p

I think the biggest instantly satisfying improvement will be the 2GB RAM - I hate my most used apps getting dumped from memory. I wish all my most used apps had a 'keep in memory option'.

Now that the custom ROM scene has so many available, Im not so sure who manufactures a phone really matters for me now as the first thing I do is stick a custom ROM on?

But those take a while to be developed at first, and most companies dont supply their source code quickly enough, Samsung are really good with it and HTC are random at times.

Well, it is the only video of the "G" on the net! :D And anything with half decent specs should run JB like butter :p
