What is the best and cheapest psu for gaming. I will have a i5k ivy bridge overclockers to 4.0-4.3ghz and a gigabyte radeon 7850 overclockers to 1ghz.
Also are the ocuk psu's any good and do they come with a warranty?

To be fair, Stulid had already done you a great spec for your budget. He used that 500W coolermaster PSU as it's a nice advantage having modular cables and it has enough power for your needs. I did suggest the OCZ ZT 550W it's a little more but is fully modular and had a better amp rating on the 12V rail....if that helps justify the extra £10.

The real trick is balancing the budget. If for some reason you have less to spend now we can try and respec for you. Skimping on the PSU is always a bad idea, especially when you use the "saved" cash to buy more power hungry components.

Modular PSUs are a luxury but it's great if you can swing them into the spec. Stulid and I don't always agree on styling and which components make the best combo but his specs are always great for the price. 9/10 you are better off just going with what he recommended rather than trying to improve it, especially if you are unsure on components yourself ;)
