Just finished up installing an Accelero Twin Turbo II on my PNY GTX 670 2GB,And thought id share some pics. :)

I cant get over how small the GTX 670 is,It looks like a low super low end card with the stock cooler removed. :D
Sorry for some of the pics,My phones camera isn't that great. :P

MSI Afterburner

Min 24 (Idle)
MAX-52C (After Heaven Benchmark 3.0 run)

(GTX 670 is at stock clocks,No overclocking done.)

Very pleased so far,With the stock cooler i was getting around 85c load...42c idle something like that.

Ive just got to find out my Ninja Wire that's in the loft somewhere,So i can prevent the card from sagging due to the extra weight.

I am thinking of doing the same myself, did the twin turbo 2 come with specific instructions for the gtx 670 i.e. telling you what spacers etc to use?

Thanks

It comes with instructions,But no mention of the GTX 670 in there only the GTX680 but i just followed the guide for the 680 and it fits perfect...i dont think they have updated the manual for the GTX 670 even though it says this cooler is compatible on the site.

Just use holes (6) for fitting if you get one.

I wouldn't recommend using the glue crap they give you to stick/install the VRM/Memory sinks as its useless...get some Akasa thermal adhesive pads and use those instead...only like £3 from overclockers.

Yeah,I got some (Scythe "NINJA WIRE") in the loft somewhere which i bought for another project but never used it so im going to hunt that down and use it to stop the card sagging.

Plenty of places to hook too on the inside top of my case.

Looks good if your existing referance 670 is running hot.:)

BUT IMO buying a custom cooled 670 with 680 PCB is a better bet if your looking to buy a 670 outright. Once you add the cost of the cooler your almost hitting the price of the custom 670.

I'd suggest a WF 670 for prospective buyers, unless you can get a MEGA deal on a referance 670 somewhere.

I bought the 670 from the MM here for £255. :)

The cheapest 670 here is £299,and thats with stock cooler..so i think ive not done too bad. :)
I see what you mean though,Il never get a card with a stock cooler on again.

If you look carefully I just used thin cable ties, took 3 of them tied together in a line to the top of my case. Cheaper if you have holes in the top of case.
