Ok so iv been trying to figure out how to enable Physix since I dont have an NVIDIA card. And I managed to find a very simple work around (Off the net)
Here it is.
And it works! AMAZING difference.

Search for:

PhysXLevel

Change

PhysXLevel=0 <- (low)

to either:

PhysXLevel=1 <- (mid)

or

PhysXLevel=2 <- (high)

Mods Delete if you feel it should go in the Borderlands 2 thread.
Just wanted to make it very easy to find if people needed it.

Intel Core i5-2500K at 4ghz
Corsair 16 GB Vengeance Low Profile 1600mhz PC3-12800
Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR5

And performance wise I noticed about a 5fps drop. I did set it to (High) 2 straight away so I cant comment yet on the difference between that and Medium.

I just think if you have a decent enough rig then why the hell not.

And the changes are luvly! Bullet holes through cloth, physix on the blood! OOO BABY!

Even on the NVidia demos you can see an impact on performance. I wouldn't be surprised if PhysX is mostly run on the CPU (all particle collisions and stuff surely cannot run on GPU only), with added regular shaders, which means no proprietary NVIDIA functionality, and compatibility by default with ATI cards. Which is damn cool.

Eventhough I have a gtx670 I hate the fact that some games work best on ati or nvidia depending on how much they bunged the dev, games should work well on the major cards evenly

I always thought Physx was only an Nvidia thing (I know the brand name Physx is Nvidia's) but I figured it was software or hardware unique to Nvidia cards that could do these fancy physics.

I am an Nvidia fanboy but its a bit silly that the developers turn off Physx by default if you have an ATI card, considering an ATI card can do the same job.

Amen to modders, again!!!! When will developers learn...
