About Us

“Overachievers” was setup on March 17th 2012 as a re-roll level capped based guild on Moonglade EU (no we dont RP) for players who wanted to revisit older content at the 60, 70 and 80 caps.

Over the course of 6 months we have experienced and raided through all the content available in Vanilla, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm. One of the biggest achievements thus far has been the “Herald of Titans” title from our raiding in Ulduar that definitely sets us apart from the crowd!

The adventures over the last 6 months have left us with a member base of about 30 active players. Our approach to WoW and in-game atmosphere is very relaxed and light hearted; having a laugh whilst experiencing the game is definitely something that we excel at as a group.

The majority of our members are from the UK, however we do have members from all corners of Europe and in general most of our players are based in the GMT/+1/+2 time zone.

We raid every Thursday and Sunday from 21:00 Server time to 23:30/24:00, and usually have other sorts of planned events on non-raid evenings for those that are interested. [PvP, LFR Groups, Dungeon Groups, Legacy Raids etc.]

Usually every raid/event is recorded and made into a short movie for the guild to enjoy on our You Tube Channel!

We are not just about raiding though! A number of players enjoy PVP Battlegrounds and Arena! So if you're interested in that part of the game we can accommodate that too!

You can check out what we have been up to thus far on our YouTube page!

Our Aims

With the release of MoP we will be officially known as a 10 man normal and heroic casual raiding guild.

Our primary goal as a guild has always been having a strong sense of a community with our members and nothing will change with MoP. In fact, we are looking to make our community even better by expanding our member base with more like minded people.

We are also looking to become one of the top, if not the top guild to join on Moonglade, perhaps not for competitive raiding, but definitely for providing the best casual and active user experience on the server.

On average we have enough active raiders to fill one raid group with a few players left over as backups that are swapped in and out of raids on an every-other-raid basis. Through recruitment another one of our aims is to have enough players to fill out two 10 man raid groups for MoP!

What you can expect from joining us:-

1. A casual, relaxed, humorous and helpful community of players
2. Regular groups for Dungeons and PvP
3. Raiding of the newest content twice a week
4. Raiding older content for achievements, transmog gear and LEGENDARIES!

Are you a new player or never raided before but want to get involved? Don’t worry, we will always incorporate new members in our group runs and teach them the ropes of how to be a better player.

Our number one promise as a guild is to provide an environment for everyone that is interested, a chance at seeing game content that is otherwise hard to experience by playing solo.

Can I join?

Joining us is very easy.

So long as you consider yourself a casual player with a friendly attitude, who is interested in seeing what MoP has to offer and is looking for a good community to join, feel free to apply.

There are a few additional requirements which are:
-You must be over 16 years old. Whilst we are up for a good laugh, having a mature side when needed is required.
-We are not interested in immature kids, drama queens or egoists.
- A stable connection if raiding with us
- Access to a working mic and teamspeak for raiding

We are allways on the look out for good and friendly players of any class/spec

Though we are specifically in need of more melee DPSers (especially Rogues)

Are you guys taking people on that will be making Monks? Had a look at the application template and, considering I can't answer some of the questions like spec, race etc...thought it might look a bit bare :)

sounds good but not sure If I can be bothered to level a new character again just yet :P just finished leveling my warrior which will be my new main in mop, when do I need to join by? could I make one in like 2-3months or something?

You could just transfer your warrior to our server Tune.

You can join at any time you like really. Soon would be good though as we will be moving into MoP content together as a guild and would be a shame to miss out on that.

Voltage do you have steam or something I'm planning on levelling a monk so If I was to get a spot ill level my monk on that server

You can level what you like.

Raid spots are not guaranteed for anyone in our guild.

all we can guarantee you is a fun and friendly time.

For it to be worthwhile to myself I would need a regular raid spot.

Currently raiding with Carnage Inc on Saurfang who are the 2nd best raiding guild on the server.

I would be more than willing to join and come play with you guys, however I then risk missing all of the current raid content if I don't get into the team.

i would suggest sticking with your current guild then :)

we are a casual guild that raids and therefore try and fit everyone in to allow them to see the content, sometimes people have to sit out to allow everyone the opportunity to experience the content, we are certainly not a progressive guild where the same people are the only raiders week in and week out.

most of our members have families and full time jobs that come first.

Moonglade used to be my primary home but I have since moved all of my 85s on to pastures new. Still, I wouldn't mind making some new friends and looking up some old mates on the server.

I'll be playing MoP casually with old friends over two different servers so if you don't mind me being ultra-casual (but competent, Vanilla, TBC and Wrath raider) I'll give you guys a shout.

I'm kind of hedging my bets with which server I concentrate on since all of my WoW friends have dialled back their time in-game time as we have gotten older.

your of course welcome :)

everyone loves the chilled attitude to raiding here, there is never any drama or raging going on which is a pleasant change from elsewhere.

Cool - I'll spin up a DK sometime this week so we can have a chat though if things work out I would probably roll/level something else more permanently.

Doesn't time fly, I remember when CI were just your average scrub guild that mass invited everyone and anyone :)

Haha, not been with them for much longer than a year, so cant comment on the past.

But they are now a very established raiding guild with a couple of RF's. looking forward to seeing what MOP has to offer in terms of raid content. DS is so boring now.

Do you still have to pay for server transfers ? All my characters are on Kul Tiras (Alliance) but I stopped playing last year so I've got no ideea about the game changes since. I was thinking about comming back to see&try the pandarens (I always liked them) and I've been playing since 2006 but last year I decided to stop as all my in-game old friends quit so I got really bored.
The guild sounds just perfect for an old hardcore raider - now casual, like me. I'm thinking about a totally fresh start but I know I'll miss the money/mats...etc that I have on the other server. Might just transfer my main (pally) on Moonglade...don't know yet.
Voltage, I'll give you a shout soon if I decide to go for it. Atm i'm caught in GW2, Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2... and not enough time.

You might still be eligible for a Scroll of Ressurection which would grant you a 'free' level 80 toon on a server of your choice. That would be a good way to meet the guild members and see if the game still interests you.

You need a current subscriber to send you a scroll - feel free to send me your email address in Trust if you like, or I'm sure someone else could do it.

And to answer your actual question - yes, Blizzard still charge an arm and a leg for server and faction transfers.
