Voltage Issue With Asus Maximus V Formula

Hi, I am interested to see if anybody knows the cause of my issue; or is having the same problem.
I Installed my new motherboard last week however left the overclocking for yesterday and today.

The motherboard is reading the DRAM, PCH, PLL , VCCIO and VCCSA voltage all as 3.196v!? Here is a screen shot:

These readings are displayed in all monitoring programs as well as the bios. However if the readings were true my PC would not still be alive!!!

Luckily this board as voltage contact points for a multimeter so I checked them and they are actually getting the correct voltages I applied to them in the bios.

I have updated to the latest bios; also reset the CMOS and had no luck. I can live with it, Its just annoying that if I want to read those voltages I have to open the case and physically go prodding while the systems on.

Any ideas?
Would much appreciate it,
Cheers, Greg.

Hi thanks for the reply, I do have the latest version. However I don't think its a software issue if its reading the same in all programs and the BIOS as well. Could it be a bad sensor? Does anybody know if these voltages all are on the same sensor.

Note that the board reads CPU voltage and PSU voltages fine and those sensors are separate from the one that seems like its failing.

Perhaps the board is just bad at reporting the voltages.

You need someone with the same board to see what their's reports to determine if it's a fault or a quirk.

I doubt its a generic thing on these boards as they are designed to be tweaked to the nth degree. Can anybody confirm that there board reads those voltages okay?
Thanks in advance.

Hi 8 Pack; just replied to your message on the other thread:

Thanks for the response and yea I agree that AISuite is a pile of crap.

I use HW monitor myself however it doesnt read those voltages. And im pretty sure its not a software issue as the BIOS itself is reading the same voltages.
Regards,

To be honest mate if your system is working stable there is nothing to worry about as clearly the voltages are within tolerances.

A HWmonitor that reads all ROG voltages is in the making.

Yeah I know its just a bit annoying as when I want to overclock and fine tweak its a pain to have to use a multimeter. Glad to hear there is an ROG version of HWM coming though!!
:)

Nice !!!!!
Will look forward to this - let us know when you have more news on this.
