DSM 4.2 Beta & Packages is out

To many things to list but the Android DS Video app is on the market now.

The way I do it is I turn off any package running..then update the OS..then update the Packages.

Will report back when it's done.

First problem(well not a big one) you need a MyDS Centre account to update stuff now

EDIT=found a way round it..just go here http://ukdl.synology.com/download/beta/DSM4.2_beta/packages/ and do a manual install.

First bonus for me is being able to resume play where you left off in the DS Video app!

Having been burned many times with final (buggy) Synology releases, I think I'll wait a while before upgrading.

Not happy about having to sign up for a MyDS account just to update packages, total crap.

I see that synology is going to sell software that's why they want you to sign up to MyDS.

All is running ok so far but Picture station is re-indexing AGAIN :mad:
