Keep or sell my 680 or 6990

I'm currently running a WC 6990, but I recently brought a msi 680 gtx lightning and water blocks for a planned upgrade for SLI setup but didnt buy the 2nd card and doubt I will anymore, now i am thinking of selling or maybe switching to just one 680.
My question is which is the better card 6990 or 680 lightning? Gaming @ 1440p

I was planning to get both cards before taking apart/cleaning WC systems and then switching over to the WC 680 lightning SLI then sell the 6990.
I don't think anywhere sell any 680 lightings anymore so not sure if its worth keeping the one I have now...
 
You dont need 2 lightnings to SLI dude?

How about selling them both and grabbing a titan when its released? See how the titan is on release then make up your mind?
 
You have the best 680's on the market and you can have some fun with these if you are willing to over volt with Art Money. At work till 6am but will link to more info then if you are interested.

No one buys 2 water blocks before they have 2 cards, now hes stuck with an extra block for a lightning and he knows there hard to get a hold of now.

Please stop trying to stir in every thread i post.

Spot on. If my intention was to go SLI/CF at some stage and water cool them, I would buy 2 blocks at once. Very heavy things and saves on postage costs.

I had so much trouble trying to get waterblocks for mine, the OP was very wise to buy 2 at once.
 
He did the right thing but is now stuck with a spare block he hasnt got a card for? Seems like he did the wrong thing where im standing.

He has paid extra for a pointless item he cant use, saving postage is nothing he now has to sell this losing more money or find a lightning, i suppose youll sell em yours greg lol!
