Awesome very quiet cards guys at really good prices, especially with the FREE games!!

Great deals for Gigabyte cards. They have the best cooling of any card I've owned. I'm going back to them next upgrade.

Great cooling but they will most likely be voltage locked.

Not directing this at OcUK...but ever since the AMD's new "free" game bundles promotion, the prices of the cards gone up by £15-£25 everywhere...

Won't a simple BIOS flash fix this though? Not that this should be necessary of course!

Out of the 7970's I would definitely go for the none Ghz edition given it's the same card just running a different BIOS. Not only that but the "Boost" BIOS sucks frankly, I wish I had got a none Ghz / Boost edition card all along so I didn't have to deal with the annoying over kill voltage spikes.

Depends on the bios version.

7950 I have is locked at hardware level.

Very easy answer, pricing in USD has risen slightly due to memory price increases. Then since the game promotion exchange rates have also weakened, both combined give the increase you are seeing. But pricing at AMD level on GPU's is un-changed.

Everything has gone up, look at CPU's, memory, prices rocketed and its why it is everywhere as weakening exchange rates and memory price increases effect everyone.

Prices have gone up but when speccing a full build the other day I couldn't help notice a difference of £80-100 lower with one of your competitors, none of the items were on special with them either and some of them were on OCUK :/

Would've been a definite buy for me with the 7950 but they voltage locked them..Shame really.
