So you would all advise I skip the overclocked bundle and just buy the parts? I'm no stranger to building systems but I've never overclocked; a stock i5-3570k would do me though wouldn't it? With a 7950 of course.

I would also like to thank everyone for the help; I know a lot of you have posted before in my other threads and I really do appreciate the advise!

The overclocking process is pretty straight forward. Most chips like the 3570k will give you 4-4.2/3ghz on stock voltages, so all you need to really do it build the machine, install the OS, update the BIOS & overclock the CPU with some help from the Forums. Not much tweeking required.

You've got a great cooler there, it one of the top 3. I've got it and cannot fault it, but it's big.

Go for it, you will not regret it.

Which cooler are talking about? As for the overclocking, the thing I am most worried about is making it go bang. I'm assuming I'm going to have to adjust the 'multiplier'? If I keep the voltages stock does that mean its safe? Sorry for the 'noobishness' but I really am in the unknown with overclocking.

If you are going for the K2, it would be the perfect combination

Yes, it will be perfectly safe. Normally take it 1 step at a time, there are loads of experienced overclockers here who are willing to help.

If you want to keep an eye on the temps, download Hardware Monitor. TMPIN1 will be your CPU temp.

It won't go bang as these boards are built for overclocking & have fail safe's inplace. If you overclock it too far, the PC will not boot. Simply reset the CMOS & start again, no harm done.
