Cryptozoic's Hex: Shards of Faith is a new breed of MMO and TCG. Currently in Kickstarter with 11 days to go. The goal was $300.000 and they have gone beyond that with almost $1.000.000. Beta scheduled to September and apparently Cryptozoic want to get it out before the end of the year.

I am well excited about this game. PvP and PvE in a TCG!

I was too late for the Pro Player Tier so am now considering the Dungeon Crawler instead. Still some time to make up my mind. But it does look very interesting, that's for sure!

Only went in at Knight level myself, but reckon that's the solid mid-point for a good entry to the game. Enough boosters to open up plenty of building opportunity and a leftover base to trade with. :)

I have a feeling that my life is officially over when this is released. :D

Here is a thing from ReKinn of the guild that I will hopefully be a part of. Might be of interest to a few of you :)

Hello all!

ReKinn here from Pulse Esports. As some of you who have ventured into the Guild Recruitment thread may know, we are trying to start a guild for casual and competitive players and want to help this game grow as much as possible! To do that, we want to help people that may have been interested in getting into the beta, but don't have the expendable income to donate to the kickstarter. To help you guys out, we're going to hold a stream on Saturday June 1st @ 1200 (noon) PDT. We will be giving away 3-5 $20 packages and possibly more (depending on the interest we get in this thread.)

Feel free to ask any questions you may have about this event, or check out our guild recruitment page. You're also welcome to add me on skype, private message, or e-mail me!

P.S. The stream will have a ton of games being played on it (generally by viewer request.) So, let me know what you guys would like to see on the stream!

I have always liked the idea of TCG, and always wanted a Yu-Gi-Oh MMO that was good. But, having never played a TCG, will this not be a bit too much, considering he is talking about socketing cards and such?

I don't think so. Basically, they're just making the best of the digital format to add further customisation to your decks -- far above what is possible with physical cards. Considering it's all handled for you by the game, and stored in your deck/account, it shouldn't get difficult at all. :)

Very, very excited for this.

I have to say I was on the fence about backing this for a while. But seeing that they got Tablet support achieved. I went for the Knight tier :p

I just wonder how the tablet support will work but I gotta say looking forward to this going to be real fun :)

I like yu-gi-oh card game tho its been awhile since i watched it and played the game on pc and i think on the gba.

Would have rather have wanted a yugioh mmo trading card game instead least i know them cards and how to play it. Just wish the trading card games that go on pc or what have you have the full monster fights in 3d with all the moves from the shows yet its "just" card portion 9 times out of 10 which tbh is boring if theres no 3d battles and its just cards with fancy particle effects. :/

A massive patch yesterday introduced Sealed format plus some other nice features. Still not too late to get into the Alpha (which will go on for quite some time). If anyone from OcUK plays, send me a PM for a game :)

EDIT: I am no longer in that guild mentioned above (I think they disbanded). I am now in CBB, if anyone is interested: http://www.clanblackblade.com/

Is anyone playing this game?

Is anyone playing this game?

I signed up and have been playing PVE just to try & learn the game.

It seems ok but when I looked into getting into draft mode it seems players need to provide 3 packs + 100plat which is 700plat (800plat = £4.99)
So it costs £4.36 to enter a draft mode tournament :( (I guess you get to keep the cards you pick, but it still seems a little expensive?)

Also constructed is 300 platinum (plus u need to have a competitive 60 card deck)

I may be missing something but it seems very hard to get into the game & also seems expensive

The things that drew me to it: trading within the game, more complexity than other online TCG's & I think I've seen adverts everywhere for it :)
