Nice - didn't know there was a comet on display anywhere. Theres a certain something to de havilland designs.

Some great shots there.
I am over that way tomorrow, might make time and have a pop in!
Been a while since I went round the museum proper as usually there for airshow when it's packed.

It's really nice now. I hadn't been for a few years and it's all been redeveloped!

Just don't make the same mistake as me. It was quite empty today and I just leaped out the car and started snapping away. Didn't see any of the pay and display car park signs! Saw them on my way back and panic set in when I saw the yellow sticker on the window.

It was just a warning and I was greeted by the nicest warden ever. I apologized as I genuinely hadn't noticed. He said don't worry, it happens. We just ask people politely to buy a ticket if they forgot... Which I promptly did and was glad to overpay :)

The museum is free admittance too. Superb walkabout!

Wow, the place has certainly changed since I did my trade training there in early 1992. I remember that part of our Liney training was to polish the canopies on an old Canberra, some Bulldogs and some Jet Provosts in the hangar. Many fond memories, especially the Saturday afternoons in the Shrewsbury Arms in Albrighton.

It seems to have changed a lot. Was nice to see some gliders being launched there too. Weather must have been fantastic for it.

Well, had an excellent afternoon at Cosford yesterday so thanks again for posting these and reminding me about it!
Took way too many photos but it was nice to wander around without the bustle of an air show.
I felt almost bad that it is free - except for parking. lol

Was interesting to see the recovered Dornier, although somewhat misted up.
