OCing a 4770k & Asus Extreme VI

I'm a bit confused. In the BIOS I have set

CPU = 48
DRAM = 1866
CPU Core V = Adaptive
CPU Additional Turbo V = Auto
AI OC tuner = XMP
BLCK = 100
CPU cache ratio = auto

In AIDA64 CPUZ when running a stress test I get a CPU clock of 3890 @ 1.298V with 39x multiplier. My CPU temps are max 68C.

Surely I should get 4800 at 100% CPU load? Or am I missing something else?

Anyone got any ideas? None of my BIOS overclocks are showing up in the CPUZ or AIDA64.

Try updating you bios, even if you have the last one, "update" it again, some asus motherboards are not changing the multiplier for some reason.

I already had this problem.

The multiplier and overclock are in the BIOS and on my ROG device. However AIDA64 and CPUZ are not showing the overclock.
I have replaced my mbb battery but still have the same issue.

what happens if you set a lower multi say 44.
